Text Box: Selected Stories by Roger Aycock
Roger Aycock is best known in his home town of Rome, Georgia as the author of All Roads to Rome, a book of local history published in 1981. He wrote science fiction short stories, played violin with the Rome Symphony Orchestra for twenty-two years and with the Mountain Music Club.
He and his wife, the former Imogene Johnson, enjoyed ballroom dancing.  Roger was know for his kindness, generosity, sense of humor and integrity.

This book tells a story about the plight of a typical teenage boy caught in circumstances that he alone can deal with. It deals with morality, character and gives a sprinkling of humor. The setting is placed in the 1930’s in Georgia.
It was written and copyrighted by Mack in 1992. He dedicated the book to his wife Margaret Easterwood.

With the exception of a short time teaching, John has held many important positions that range from garbage truck driver to ornamental plant grower to hardware salesman in rural Alabama.
