ANTHOLOGY

Text Box: We are already accepting submissions of Members’ works for the 2008 Anthology, (Volume 8) which should be available by mid October. Submit poetry, short stories, plays, excerpts from novels, or essays. There is no charge for submissions; however, they must be approved by the committee to be included. The Anthology is a family-type publication, so if your writing does not altogether fit that definition, please edit the submission so that it can be accepted. We can include up to three short submissions or about ten pages of text per individual. For longer material, submit an excerpt of your choice. See previous Anthologies for the varied types of material usually submitted.
Font size should be 12 point, on a space and a half format, with Times New Roman as the preferred font.
Submit entries on a CD or by email in Microsoft Word , along with the hard copy.
Please make an effort to read your work at a Prose, Poetry, or General meeting prior to submission. If this is not possible, give it to two or three members or to the Anthology Committee for critiques beforehand. Submissions should be made by August 1st at the latest and preferably earlier.
The Anthology Chairman, with a committee of members, will consider and proofread all works submitted. However, please help the committee by proofreading your own work carefully before turning it in. We expect to have programs and handouts available for members to use in checking their own work as needed.
COMMITTEE:
Dekie Hicks, Ch., Nadine Blyseth, and Alecia Alexander
