The GENERAL Meeting is on the SECOND Thursday in the Etowah Room at Rome/Floyd Library, July 10, 2008, at 6:00 PM—8:00 PM. Guests are invited to visit/join.

Text Box: Rome Area Writers is made up of individuals who like to write and who support the literary arts, especially in Rome, Georgia. RAW salutes the Masters of the written word, and we honor many of them by placing their image on this website. It is the dream of all Rome writers to someday be listed among these distinguished authors. Another objective of RAW is to organize and support a Literary Festival in the city of Rome. Writers in Georgia and surrounding states would be invited to join us in support of the literary arts. Look for more information about this in the near future. You are invited to visit all parts of this website. It is our wish that you find ideas that will be an inspiration for you to begin or continue your journey in the written word.
